Dinosaur Bone
Archival Digital Print, printed with pigmented inks on premium matte media
8.5" x 11" $45
100 million years ago, during the Jurassic age, dinosaurs ruled the Colorado Plateau. When they died, a few were covered by mud and sand and eventually were buried thousands of feet below the surface, where their bones were petrified (filled or replaced by minerals such as agate, silica, iron, calcite, etc.) leaving the cell structure clearly visible. See Dinosaur Dung.
